The St. Regis Yalong Bay Resort
The St. Regis Yalong Bay Resort is located at the end of the coastal road leading to all the seaside resorts in Yalong Bay, facing the 1 km long private beach and the South China Sea. The hotel has a yacht dock, which can be reached by both land and water routes. The elegant and unique architectural style is inspired by the distinctive theme of 'Dragon Sea', which has time significance and is sublimated from the foundation of traditional Chinese culture; the water element is one of the most important design elements of this project. The undulating and dynamic roof of the building strives to reflect the feeling of rising upwards, and at the same time, the water element runs through the project, fully embodying the design theme of 'Dragon Rising Sea' and 'Dragon Swirling Rainy Rain'. The building materials are carefully selected, and the simple materials are used to set off a sense of tranquility, which reflects the design concept of expressing but not talking, and integrating the building into nature. The overall atmosphere of the resort is quiet and natural, and the details of the treatment are surprising.
