Basis international school of mixc world is located next to a hill in the core area of Jinan CBD. Under the background of a height limit of 24m and a floor area ratio of up to 2.5, the compact layout of the teaching complex is adopted to allow most of the functional blocks. Covered under a large board with functions, the functional blocks are tightly connected through the large board to meet the needs of the international school's shift system. At the same time, the green roof above the big slab continues the natural landscape of the hills and integrates with nature, providing a friendly fifth facade for the surrounding communities.

The plan is divided into two major functional blocks, the main building along the street is the teaching building, and the main building on the backing is the dormitory. The two main bodies are connected by a rich aerial platform. The most active auxiliary functions such as the auditorium, gymnasium, canteen, etc. are placed on the undulating platform and connected in series between the two main buildings. The platform is pressed down to level the road at the entrance of the campus, and students walk up along the big slab to reach the main functions such as the teaching building, gymnasium, and dormitory in turn. The end of the teaching building is elevated to enhance the guidance of the entrance and shelter students from wind and rain. At the same time, it also strengthens the identity of the campus in the CBD. The shape and the platform are connected with a curve, which enhances the flexibility of the facade and also brings the indoor space interesting. The facade of the dormitory adopts vertical line elements to outline the shape. The bottom layer is overhead and horizontally connected to the aerial activity platform. Several curved courtyards are implanted in the dormitory volume, which can be used for recreation, rock climbing, viewing and other activities.
