Shumyip Tairan Building

Shenye Tairan Building is located in the heart of Shenzhen's Chegongmiao Industry and Trade Park. The building is a "hui"-shaped volume enclosed by a series of cascading sky gardens. This layout not only avoids obstructing the sight of surrounding buildings and maximizes the view of Shenzhen Bay, but also makes the building have a prominent visual image on Binhai Avenue and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. The high buildings on both sides enclose an atrium communication space at the same time, this atrium also provides a sheltered place while being protected by the surrounding building blocks.

In the design, every external surface of the building was used as much as possible to create a public communication space. Balconies are staggered on the external walls, and semi-outdoor sky gardens that run through the two ends of the building are partially designed to allow natural wind to penetrate the building; in particular, the use of stepped terraces to blur the difference between the podium and the main building makes the podium empty and useless The roof of the building is scattered into many smaller and more effective terraces, which are distributed to the various office floors of the building to revitalize the office atmosphere. Tairan Building is not only a building, it is also a terraced garden, providing a lush greenery for all the surrounding office towers.
